Almond Biscotti

    1 Refined Flour 1 cup
    2 Salt to taste Salt to taste
    3 Baking Powder 1 tsp
    5 Fennel Seeds, 1 tbsp
    6 Cardamom Powder 1 tbsp
    7 Eggs 2
    8 Butter 1/4th cup
    9 Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
    10 Honey 2 tbsp
    11 Almond, roasted 3/4th cup
    12 Apricot, chopped 1 cup


preparation method


  • In a bowl put 1 cup Refined Flour, Salt to taste, 1 tsp baking powder , 1 tbsp fennel Seeds,1 tbsp cardamom powder  and mix I well.


  • Then another bowl put 2 eggs, 1/4th cup butter 1 tsp vanilla essence, 2 tbsp honey and whisk well. Then in the same bowl add 3/4th cup Almond, roasted and 1 cup chopped Apricot and knead it with your hands.


  • Then with a help of a cookie cutter, cut out heart shaped almond biscotti and then place with in a greased baking tray. Bake them for 15-20 mins on 180 degree C.


  • Place the baked biscotti on a plate and dust it with icing sugar.
