Almond Cookies

A cookie made light to eat and easy to prepare.

ingredients

    Butter, softened: 1 cup

    Sugar: 1/3 cup

    Roasted almonds chopped: 2/3 cups

    All purpose flour: 1-2/3 cup

    Salt: ¼ teaspoon

    Cinnamon: 1 cup, ground

    Nutmeg: 1/2 cup, ground

    Sugar: ½ cup powdered

Preheat oven up to 325F

Add to a bowl, butter, sugar and ground almond into a bowl and beat it with the help of an electric beater.

In another bowl add salt and flour and stir well. With the electric beater at low speed, slowly add the flour mixture to the butter mixture.

Shape the dough into tablespoon sized balls and places it on an ungraded cookie tray.

Bake for 10-15 minutes in an oven and then remove it to cool off for 30 odd minutes.

Mix cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar in a small bowl and dip the cookies in it.

Serving Suggestions

    Serve once it has set and cooled off
