Anjeer Barfi

Anjeer Barfi is an exotic sweet and is very quick to prepare.

ingredients

    Dried figs :- 12
    Dry fruits-pista, almonds, walnuts and cashew nuts (chopped) :- 1/3 cup
    Cardamom powder :- ΒΌ tsp
    Ghee :- 1tsp
    Saffron strands for garnishing :- Few
    Edible silver leaves for garnishing :- 2

preparation method

In boiling water, blanch the dried figs for few minutes. Drain and puree them in a food processor.

Combine the dry fruits, fig puree,cardamom powder,saffron and ghee to make a smooth paste.

Then roll into a rectangle preferably 4 inch by 3inch.

Now decorate with edible silver leaves.

Anjeer barfi is ready.
