Apple crumble contains a delicious taste of cinnamon’s and apples and makes a scrumptious dessert.
Plain flour (sieved with a pinch of salt):- 300gm.
Brown sugar :- 175
Unsalted butter (cubed at room temperature):- 200gm.
Butter for greasing:-
Ingredients for apple stuffing
Big apples (peeled, cored and cut into small cubes):- 2
Brown sugar :- 50gm.
Butter:- 2 tsp.
Ground cinnamon:- 1 pinch
Preheat the microwave to 180 degrees C.
In a bowl, combine the sugar and flour together. Mix well.
Put a few butter cubes at a time and then rub into the prepared flour mixture. Continue rubbing till the mixture looks like breadcrumbs. Keep aside.
In a pan, heat butter over medium flame and put the apple pieces. Cook covered for about two minutes over low heat.
Sprinkle cinnamon powder and sugar over it. Mix well and keep cooking on low heat for another two minutes. Then switch off the heat.
Grease a thin ovenproof round shaped dish with butter and put the fruit mixture into the bottom.
Sprinkle the crumble mixture on upper portion.
Bake in the microwave until it turns brown.
Serve with custard.
Serve warmed with cold vanilla ice cream or custard.
