Apple Ginger Ice Tea

This light and healthy drink is a nice combination of apple and ginger.


    Green tea: 2-3 bags

    Ginger: 2 inch pieces in the shape of matchsticks

    Apple: ¼ in the shape of matchsticks

    Mint leaves: 1-2 springs

    Apple cider: ½ cup

    Ice: 2 cups

    Honey as desired

preparation method

Amalgamate the apple, ginger, mint and tea bags in a tea pot. Add hot boiling water into the mixture and allow it to rest for 5-7 minutes.  After a couple of minutes, strain whilepouring the mixture into a pitcher filled with ice cubes. Finally add a pinch of honey and apple cider to sweeten the beverage further. Pour in tall glasses and serve.

Serving Suggestions

    Serve cool and garnish with a little parsley or basil or mint leaves.
