Baked Cottage Cheese Pie is a low calorie dessert that is prepared with fruits and low fat paneer.

    Ingredientsfor the cottage cheese mixture

    Low fat paneer (cottage cheese):- 1 cup
    Sugar:- 4 tsp.
    Low fat milk:- 4 tbsp.
    Saffron strands:- few

    Ingredients for the fruit stuffing

    Apples (sliced):- 1 cup
    Brown sugar:- 4 tsp.
    Nutmeg powder:- ΒΌ tsp.
    Lemon juice:- few drops

preparation method

To make cottage cheese mixture, dissolve the few saffron strands in the milk and then set aside.

Blend all the cheese mixture ingredients using a mixer to prepare a paste. Keep aside.

For the fruit stuffing, combine all the ingredients and set aside for 20 minutes.

Remove all the water and place the fruit in a 150 mm diameter greased pie plate.

Spread the mixture of cottage cheese all over the arranged fruits and bake in a preheated microwave at 220 degrees C for about 15 minutes.

Take out and serve warm.

Serving Suggestions

    Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or custard.
