Besan Burfi


An Indian sweet that can be savoured any time of the day!


    Bengal gram flour :- 500 gm

    Ghee- 1/2 cup

    Sugar :- ¾ tsp

    Cardamom powder :- 2 tsp

preparation method

Heat a frying pan over low heat.

Roast the gram flour over low heat in ghee until aromatic. Make sure the shade of besan does not change.

Put the sugar to it and combine well.

Switch off the heat and add the cardamom powder.

Spread little oil on the sides and the lowest part of the tray.

Spread the prepared mixture on the greased tray.

Once the mixture is set, cut into pieces.

Serving Suggestions

    Garnish with slices of cashew nuts and pista.

    What is the Qty of Sugar for this Recipes.. Also I think there is some points missing in the preparation method…Pl clarify….

    how much ghee?besan is not roasted in ghee?how many pcs can be prepared,chef’s name is also not mentioned.
