Bhindi Pyaaz

Bhindi pyaaz is really quick recipe which also tastes delicious.

 

ingredients

    Lady finger (slit half lengthwise) :- 300 gms
    Onions (thinly sliced into rings) :- 2
    Green chilies (chopped) :- 2
    Coriander leaves (chopped) :- 1 tbsp
    Ginger (grated) :- 1 inch
    Flakes garlic (peeled and crushed) :- 3
    Lemon (juice) :- ½
    Turmeric powder :- 3 pinches
    Asafoetida :- Pinch
    Salt :- To taste
    Oil :- 2 tbsp

preparation method

In a pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil and put ladyfinger. Stir-fry until it becomes crisp.

Take out from a pan and set aside.

In a pan, heat leftover oil and stir-fry onions until transparent. Keep aside.

In a pan, cook all other ingredients and stir-fry for a minute.

Mix salt and ladyfinger in it. Stir well and transfer it into serving dish.

Garnish with fried onions and serve hot. 

Serving Suggestions

    Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot with roti, rice or parathas.
