Bread Halwa


Rich Indian sweet that will melt-in-the-mouth


    White Bread Slices :- 6-8

    Sugar :- 1 cup

    Water :- 1 ½ cup

    Milk :- 2 cup

    Butter :- 3-4 tbsp

    Desi Ghee :- 1 tbsp

    Cashewnuts :- 8-10

    Raisins to decorate

    Pinch of Cardamom powder

    Tutti frutti

preparation method

Spread butter on both sides of bread slices and heat in a pan.

To make sugar syrup, add 1 cup sugar and 1 ½ cup water and let simmer till sugar melts.

In a pan, boil milk .Crush cashew nuts and fry them separately.

Now, Place the toasted bread in a serving bowl, add sugar syrup, milk, fried cashew nuts, raisins, elaichi powder and tutti frutti .

Serve this removing into portions as required.
