Caramelized Onion in Cheese Tartlets


    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 medium onion sliced
    1 tsp garlic chopped
    1 tbsp brown sugar
    1 tsp chopped thyme
    2 tbsp white wine vinegar
    10 cherry tomatoes halved
    salt to taste
    black pepper to taste
    10 ready-made tartlet cups
    For garnish –
    50gms mozzarella cheese
    parsley springs


preparation method

1. Heat oil in a pan and add in the sliced onions and fry till golden brown, then add in garlic, thyme brown sugar, and white wine vinegar and cook till onions are caramelized.
2. In a bowl, take the cherry tomatoes, sprinkle salt, pepper and white wine vinegar.
3. In a plate arrange the tartlets  put a spoon full of mixture on in the tartlets.
4. Garnish with the cherry tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and parsley spring and serve.
