Chana Palak ki Sabzi

    Chick peas- 1 cup

    Spinach- 2 cup

    Tomatoes- 2 medium

    Cinnamon sticks -1

    Cloves- 2-3

    Bay leaf- 1

    Ginger- garlic paste- 1 tsp

    Cumin seeds- ½ tsp

    Garam masala- ½ tsp

    Dried mango powder- ½ tsp

    Red chili powder- ½ tsp

    Sunflower oil- 1 tbsp

    Salt- to taste

    Coriander- to garnish

    chane- 1 cup

    palak- 2 cup

    tamater- 2 medium

    dalcheeni  -1

    laung- 2-3

    tej patta- 1

    adrak- lehsan ka paste- 1 tsp

    jeera- ½ tsp

    Garam masala- ½ tsp

    amchur- ½ tsp

    lal mirch powder- ½ tsp

    tel- 1 tbsp

    namak- swad anusar

    dhaniya- sajane ke liye

     

     

     

preparation method

 

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Sauté cinnamon sticks, cloves and bay leaf till they leave flavor
  • Add ginger- garlic paste, tomato and cumin seeds and cook till soften
  • Now add chick peas, salt, garam masala, dried mango powder and red chili powder, cook for a while
  • Add water, cook for a while
  • Add spinach towards the end, cook for a while
  • Garnish with coriander and serve
