Chicken Fingers

Chicken fingers are a fried snack that can uplift the mood in a jiffy and is meant for every kid’s party.



    Chicken tenders: 1 pound

    Flour: 1 cup

    Salt: 1 teaspoon

    Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon

    Baking powder: 1/4 teaspoon

    1 egg

    Cooking spray

    Honey Baby Sauce:

    Honey: 1/4 cup

    Spicy brown mustard: 1/4 cup

The oven needs to be preheated to 375 F. In running water clean the chicken pieces. Wipe the pieces dry with the help of kitchen towels because batter does not stick on wet chicken.

Combine the ingredients that are dry in nature in a shallow dish. With the help of a pointed fork or kitchen utensil mash the ingredients.

Roll the chicken pieces in the batter and in another bowl beat an egg. Roll the batter covered chicken in egg and roll it back in the batter. Now place the batter covered chicken pieces on a baking tray.

Lightly drizzle oil over the pieces before baking. Put the tray into the oven and cook for 15 minutes till the exterior becomes golden brown.

Remove the pieces and place them on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil. Repeat the procedure for all the pieces.

To make the honey sauce, mix in a small bowl, some honey and mustard. Stir well and serve alongside.

    Serve chicken fingers with honey dip.
