Chicken Korma is one of the most delicious recipes from north. It is a Mughlai dish made up of Yogurt.
Boneless Chicken :- 400 gm
Yogurt :- 1 cup
Cashew Nut Paste :- ¼ cup
Cloves :- 2
Cardamom :- 1
Cumin Seeds :- 1 tsp
Garam Masala :- 1 tsp
Coriander Powder :- 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste :- 1 tsp
Green Chili Paste :- ½ tbsp
Turmeric Powder :- ¼ tsp
Ghee :- 1tbsp
Salt :- to taste
Onion (chopped) :- ½ cup
Oil :- 1 tsp
Fresh Cream :- ½ cup
Heavy Bottom Pan
Serving bowl or dish
In the deep bottomed pan, heat the ghee till it melts completely.
Add crushed cardamom, cloves and sauté.
Put cumin seeds in it and saute until all the ingredients change their shade.
Add garam masala, turmeric powder, garlic-ginger paste, coriander powder, green chili paste and then sauté.
Mix curd in this mixture and simmer. Cook for five minutes.
Pour little water in a gravy and cook the chicken till it becomes half cooked.
In a separate pan, fry the chopped onion in hot oil and keep aside.
Put the cashew nuts paste and stir well. Cook it further till chicken grows soft.
Chicken Korma is ready to get served now.
Garnish with fried onion and fresh cream. Serve hot with paratha or pulav.
