Chicken Parmesan Pakoras
200 gms boneless chicken breasts, cut into ½ inch pieces
2 tbsps parmesan cheese powder
Canola oil for deep-frying
2 tsps ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp mustard paste
½ tsp red chilli flakes
1 tsp chopped fresh coriander leaves
2 tbsps cornstarch
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
Tomato ketchup for serving
1. Heat sufficient canola oil in a kadai.
2. Mix together chicken pieces, ginger-garlic paste, mustard paste, parmesan cheese powder, chilli flakes, coriander leaves, cornstarch, egg, salt and crushed peppercorns in a bowl.
3. Put the marinated egg pieces in hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
4. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
