Corn and Aloo Kofta Curry


    For Kofta

    ½ bowl potato

    ½ bowl boiled & mashed corn kernels

    1 bowl spinach

    salt to taste

    ½ tsp chopped green chillies


    1½ tsp refined flour

    ¼ tsp turmeric powder

    For Curry

    2 tsp oil

    Whole spices

    2 tbsp boiled onion paste

    1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

    ½ tsp coriander powder

    ½ tsp garam masala powder

    ½ tsp turmeric powder

    ½ tsp asafoetida

    2 tbsp cashew paste

    2 tbsp yogurt

    2 – 3 cup water

    salt to taste

    For garnishing

    fresh cream

    spring onion

    dried red chilies

preparation method

In a bowl, put potato, corn kernels, spinach, salt , green chillies, refined flour and turmeric powder. Mix them well.

Roll the mixture into your favorite shape. Sprinkle corn flour and deep fry them.

For making Curry

Heat oil in a pan. Add garam masala and onion paste. Sauté it on a slow flame.

Add ginger garlic paste and sauté again. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder and asafetida. Sauté it on a slow flame.

Add cashew paste and cook it on a slow flame. Add yogurt and water. Let it boil. Add salt and the koftas. Let it boil.

Serving Suggestions

    Garnish it with fresh cream, spring onion and dried red chillies.
