Crab coriander is an exotic treat for non-vegetarians.
Crab (cut and washed) :- ½ kg
Garlic(crushed) :- 5 flakes
Onion (cut lengthwise) :- 1-1/2
Ginger (crushed) :- 1-1/2 inch piece
Coriander powder :- 3 tsps
Chili powder :- 3 tsps
Cumin powder :- ½ tsp
Fenugreek powder :- 2 pinches
Turmeric powder :- ½ tsp
Coconut milk (thick) :- ¼ cup
Coconut oil :- 3 dessert spoon
Water :- 1 cup
Salt :- To taste
Mix crab with turmeric powder and salt and set aside for about 15 minutes.
In a pan, heat oil and half fry the chopped onions.
Mixgreen chili, garlic andginger in it. Fry till it turns light brown.
Combine fenugreek powder, chili powder, coriander powder and cumin powder in it. Stir for around 3 minutes.
Put tomato and continue stirring to prepare a paste.
Join the crab and combine well.
Pour one cup of water in this mixture and cook covered over medium heat till the crab becomes tender. Continue stirring.
Pour coconut milk and boil till the gravy thickens. Switch off the heat and garnish with chopped curry leaves.
Serve hot with steamed rice.
