Creamy Cauliflower


    Cauliflower sauce

    300 gms cauliflower florets
    2 cups veg stock
    2 cups milk
    1 tbsp garlic
    40 gms butter
    1 tsp pepper powder

    For Baking

    200 gms potatoes ( boiled and diced)
    100 gms green peas ( par boiled )
    100 gms carrot (boiled and diced )
    150 ml cream
    1/2 cup grated cheese

preparation method

1- Heat butter in a large pot, add garlic and sauté, add cauliflower and fry for a minute.
2- Add milk, stock, pepper and salt and cook till the cauliflower is done.
3- Cool this down and blend till you get a creamy smooth sauce

For Baking

1- Grease oven proof dish with butter, layer the veggies, season with salt pepper and nutmeg.
2- Pour a layer of cream followed by the cauliflower sauce.
3- Sprinkle cheese and bake in a preheated oven 180C for 15 minutes and serve hot with some garlic bread.
