Crispy Bhindi Chat


    250 gms okra/ bhindi( wash and pat dry)
    4 tbsp gram flour
    2 tbsp rice flour
    Dry masala powder
    1tbsp zeera powder
    1 tbsp amchur powder
    2 tbsp chilly powder
    Oil for frying

    For Chat

    150 gms yogurt
    1 cup mixed sprouts ( boiled)
    1 onion( finely chopped)
    1 tomato ( finely chopped)
    3 tbsp mint chutney
    3 tbsp sweet tamarind chutney
    1 tsp red chilly powder
    1 tsp cumin powder
    1 tsp chat masala
    1 lemon
    3 tbsp fresh coriander

preparation method

1- Slit okra into two halves length wise.
2- In a small bowl mix the dry ingredients,add the bhindi and mix till it's coated evenly.
3 Heat oil in a pan and fry the bhindi in small batches till they are crisp.
4- Remove and keep aside and allow it to cool.

For Chat

1- In a plate first put a layer of sprouts, then add chopped onion and tomatoes.
2- Spoon curds on this, and put the chutneys, sprinkle all the dry masalas.
3- Finally on top arrange the crispy bhindi, squeeze line juice, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
