Daal ke Kebab

Daal ke Kebab is a diabetes friendly recipe and it tastes really good.

ingredients

    Chana dal (washed and soaked for 1 hr., then drained):- 250 gm.
    Onion (chopped):- 1
    Garlic flakes (chopped):- 3
    Ginger (chopped):- 1 inch
    Thick curd:- 2 tsp.
    Chaat masala powder:- ½ tsp.
    Garam masala powder:- ½ tsp.
    Oil:- ½ tbsp.
    Salt :- to taste
    Pepper:- to taste

preparation method

Mince the drained chana dal in a blender.

Combine all the ingredients together except chaat masala and oil into a minced dal.

Separate this mixture into lemon-sized balls and then shape them in form of kebabs by rolling between the palms.

Brush with little oil and now grill them till cooked.

Continue rotating to prevent burning.

Sprinkle lemon juice and chaat masala powder over it.

Serve with crisp salad.

Serving Suggestions

    Serve hot with ketchup or sauce or chutney.

Notes/Tips

Add little rice flour into the batter to make kebab crispier.
