Fruit and Vegetable Pulao

ingredients

    1. Ghee 2 tbsp
    2. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
    3. Cardamom 3 – 4 nos
    4 Cloves 3 - 4 nos
    5 Bay leaf 1 no
    6. Cashew nut 2 tbsp
    7. Almond 2 tbsp
    8 Walnuts 2 tbsp
    9. Green peas ¼ cup
    10. Carrots ½ cup, cut in diamond
    11 French beans ¼ cup, cut in diamond
    12. Chopped Apple 1 no
    13. Soaked rice 1 ½ Cup
    14. Saffron Few strands
    15. Salt To taste
    16. Cinnamon stick 1 inch
    17. Water 2 cups
    18. Raisins 2 tbsp
    19. Apple slices To garnish

preparation method

• Take a deep pan and add 2 tbsp of ghee and heat it.
• Add cumin seeds. When it sizzles, add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, bay leaf and roast it.
• Add cashew nuts, raisins, almonds and walnuts to it and roast it.
• Roast green peas, carrots and French beans in it.
• Add peeled and chopped apple and sauté it.
• Put soaked rice in it.
• Include Saffron strands.
• Sauté it for 2-3 mins on low flame. Add water.
• Add salt to taste and cook covered until the rice is soft
• Garnish it with apple slices.
