Gol Papdi

Gol Papdi is wheat flour sweet which is easy to prepare.


    Wheat flour :- 1/2 cup
    Grated jaggery :- 1/3 cup
    Cardamom powder :- 1/4 tsp
    Ghee :- 4 tbsp
    Poppy seeds :- 1/2 tsp

preparation method

On a greased plate, spread the poppy seeds. Keep aside.

In a pan, heat ghee and once ghee melts completely, then mix wheat flour in it. Continue mixing till golden brown.

Switch off the heat and mix cardamom powder and jaggery while the mixture is hot.

Combine well to melt the jaggery.

Pour the prepared mixture on a greased plate with poppy seeds, while still warm.

Uniformly spread it using a base of little bowl.

When the mixture cools down, cut into desired shapes.

Gol Papdi is prepared.

    Serve it hot.
