Green Parcels


    For Filling

    400 gms green beans (finely chopped)
    100 gms moong dal ( washed and soaked)
    2 onions ( finely diced)
    1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
    1 tomato ( diced)
    1/2 tsp chilly powder
    1/2 tsp coriander powder
    1/2 tsp cumin powder
    1/4 tsp turmeric powder
    2 tbsp coriander ( chopped)
    4 tbsp grated coconut

    For Parcels

    15 wonton sheets
    Oil for frying

preparation method

For Filling

1- Heat oil in a pan, add onions and cook till lightly golden brown.
2- Add ginger and garlic paste, fry for a minute, add the moong dal, tomato and all the spice powders.
3- Now add the beans and grated coconut, reduce flame and cook till beans are done.
4- Remove from flame and mix coriander leaves, cool this mixture.

For Parcels

1-Lightly wet the outside edge of the wonton sheets with water.
2- Spoon the green beans filling in the centre. Fold and seal the edges.
3- Deep fry these parcels until crisp and golden brown, serve with Kissan tomato ketchup.
