Homemade Pizza

Homemade-pizza

Pizza is not that difficult to prepare at home if you follow this simple recipe.

ingredients

    Instant dry yeast :-4 tsp.
    All-purpose flour :-1-1/2 cups
    Sugar :-1 tsp.
    Salt :-½ tsp.
    Water/Milk :-½ cup
    Vegetable oil/olive oil :-2tbsp.

     

    For topping:-
    Tomato :-1
    Onion :-1
    Green bell pepper/capsicum :-1
    Tomato sauce :-3tbsp.
    Mushrooms :-2
    Garam masala powder :-¼ tsp.
    Red chili powder :-½ tsp.
    Pizza cheese :-½ cup

Oven

Lid/soft towel

preparation method

Preheat the microwave at 220 Degrees Celsius.

In a medium bowl, combine sugar, flour and salt together.

Then put yeast into this mixture and combine well.

Heat until it achieves lukewarm stage.

Now pour this warm mixture all over the flour mixture and combine well to prepare dough.

Put oil and smear your hands. Make a smooth batter.

Apply little oil inside the bowl and keep the prepared dough in this greased bowl. Cover with a moist towel or lid and allow dough to rest for about 60 minutes.

After an hour, punch the batter to remove the air bubble and keep the dough on board. Create a big loop using a rolling pin.

Shift the dough circle to a pan and begin to prepare a ring by spreading with your palm and fingers.

Now prick the dough of pizza on few places and spread oil on the upper portion.  Bake for few minutes.

Remove from microwave and smear tomato sauce coat. Organize all the chopped vegetables on top.

Spread a thin layer of pizza cheese all over.

Sprinkle garam masala and red chili powder.

Put big tomato sauce dollops all over.

Spread grated cheese all over to cover everything.

Keep it in a microwave and again bake until the cheese on top completely melts.

Take out from the microwave and serve hot.

Serving Suggestions

    Sprinkle little cheese on top and serve homemade pizza with chili sauce.

Notes/Tips

Do not utilize the whole half cup of liquid to prepare the dough otherwise the dough will become very sticky. Don’t use the seeds of the tomatoes else the homemade pizza will be slushy. To ooze out water, just two mushrooms are enough. Use your hands to make the dough as the body heat enhances the yeastdevelopment.
