Italian Tuna Spread
Delectable tuna fish sandwich to enjoy with close pals or family.
1 tablespoon chopped Italian flat-leaf parsley
1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
salt and ground black pepper for zest
3 (4.5 ounce) cans tuna packed in olive oil, drained
1/2 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
3 tablespoons capers, sapped
Mix tuna, lemon juice, parsley, capers, pepper and salt in a food processor until the mixture turns smooth and frothy.
You can serve this delectable Italian tune fish spread with crackers or even melba toast at room temperature. It can also be served along with antipasti spread. Preserve it covered in a refrigerator. To serve, bring it to room temperature. You should not reheat or microwave it. Top it up with finely cut tomato slices, toasted bread or iceberg lettuce.
