Japanese Mushroom Flatbread

Light and healthy snacks

ingredients

    Olive oil :- 1 teaspoon

    Japanese brown mushrooms :- 2 cups

    Small onion thinly sliced :- ½

    Large naan flatbread :-  1

    Shredded mozerella cheese :-  ½ cup

    Parmesan cheese :-  1 tablespoon

    Basil leaves :-  3 4 fresh

preparation method

The oven needs to be preheated till a temperature of 400F. in a large sauce pan, add the oil and place it on a medium high flame. Sauté the mushrooms and onions for 2 minutes, avoid over heating which can eventually leading to the flavors getting destroyed. On flat bread, spread a basil pesto on the surface evenly leaving 1” off the edges. Top the pesto with mozzarella cheese and add the parmesan cheese as well. Place the bread on a tray and bake it for 6-8 minutes till the cheese begins to melt.

 

Serving Suggestions

    Serve immediately with grated cheese and basil leaves on the top.
