A dish prepared generally on occasions, this delicious rice dish is not just attractive but also very healthy.
Rice:- 1 cup
Sugar:- 1/2 cup
Kesar:- 1/4 tsp
Raisins:- 50 gm
Cashew nuts (chopped):- 50 gm
Ghee:- 1/2 cup
Cardamom pods:- 5
Deep bottomed pan
In a deep bottomed pan, heat ghee and then pour four cups of water and rice into it. Stir well.
Mix sugar into it and keep cooking over low heat. Continuously stir.
Add cardamom powder and continue cooking until mixture separates the edges of a pan.
Grind saffron and combine it in rice.
Now put cashew nuts and raisins into it. Stir well to mix.
When rice is done, switch off heat and serve hot.
Serve it hot.
