Low-fat, healthy and scrumptious snacking option


    Soybean sprouts :-  1 pound

    Soy sauce :-  2 tablespoons

    Sesame oil :-  1/4 cup

    Korean chile powder :- 2 tablespoons

    Garlic, minced :- 1 1/2 teaspoons

    Sesame seeds :-  2 teaspoons

    Chopped green onion :- 1/4 cup

    Rice wine vinegar :-  2 teaspoons

preparation method

In a large pot, boil water and add salt to it. Now put the bean sprouts in the salted water and stir uncovered till they become soft and crisp. Now wash and drain the sprouts in a sieve and instantly put them in cold water and let them stay in cold water for some time. Once they turn cold, drain the water and keep them aside. Now beat  garlic, chile powder, sesame oil, soy sauce and sesame seeds in a large sized bowl. Now add the bean sprouts and keep mixing till they are well coated in the whipped sauce. Toss green onions and flavor with rice wine vinegar. Allow them to cool in the fridge before serving.

Serving Suggestions

    Serve chilled, with a bowl of rice if you may like it.
