Malai Peda is a famous Indian dessert made from condensed milk and has an attractive golden texture.
Milk :- 1-½ cups
Sweetened condensed milk :- 1 tin
Corn flour :- 1 tsp
Citric acid :- ¼ tsp
Cardamom powder :- 5
Ghee/butter :- 1 tbsp.
Yellow colour :- few drops
In a pan, heat the ghee and put milk, citric acid and condensed milk in a little water. Dissolve completely and allow this mixture to curdle.
Dissolve corn flour in two tbsp. of water and make a smooth paste.
Add the prepared paste to the milk mixture once it curdles.
Cook over medium flame until the mixture leaves the edges of the pan.
Combine yellow color to it and stir well.
Transfer the mixture onto a plate and prepare pedas.
Sprinkle some cardamom powder over it and serve.
Garnish with dried fruits and serve.
