Meetha Poora with Rabri


    1 cup Atta
    1/4 cup castor sugar
    1 teaspoon roasted grinded saunf
    ½ tsp elaichi powder
    ¼ tsp baking soda
    ½ cup milk
    For rabri:
    ½ litre milk
    1/2 cup sugar
    ½ tsp cardamom powder .
    ½ cup khoya

    Oil to shallow fry
    Pista to garnish if requied

preparation method

Mix wheat flour , sugar, saunf, baking powder and cardamom powder in milk and make a batter. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
In a pan, reduce milk till it starts thickening, add cardamom powder and sugar and cook for 20 more minutes. When the milk is reduced add khoya and cook for 10 more mins. Remove from flame and add chopped pista and mix. Keep chilled.
Heat a frying pan/griddle, pour the batter in the center and make it a thick pooda. Cook it both the sides by brushing with oil. Remove on a serving plate, Put rabri in the center of pooda, serve hot pooda with cold rabri.
