Mint Granita with Pears



    8-10 mint sprigs + for garnishing

    ¼ cup mint syrup

    ¼ red USA Pear

    ¾ cup ice cubes

    1 tbsp lemon juice

preparation method

  1. Grind together ice cubes, mint sprigs, mint syrup and lemon juice along with some water to a thin mixture.
  2. Pour the mixture into abarfitray and refrigerate till set. Scrape the mixture at regular intervals to get a granita texture using a fork.
  3. Discard stem and bottom of a USA Pear and finely chop. Put some chopped pear into individual martini glasses and put some scraped granita on top.
  4. Serve immediately garnished with a mint sprig.
