Paneer fried rice

Paneer fried rice is an extremely delicious recipe for rice lovers


    Basmati rice (soak in water for 30 minutes):-2 cups
    Green bell pepper (chopped):-1
    Grated paneer:-1 cup
    Medium sized onion (cut lengthwise):-1
    Frozen/fresh peas :-½ cup
    Soy sauce :-1 tsp
    Green onions (chopped):-½ cup
    Pepper :-To taste
    Salt :-To taste

preparation method

Cook soaked basmati rice by adding 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of oil and 4 cups of water. (put rice once water starts boiling, cook over high heat till 60 percent of water evaporates and cook on a low flame till water evaporates completely. Separate the grains.)
In a pan, heat oil and fry the chopped onion until light golden over high heat.
Mix green onions, peas and green bell pepper. Sauté for 3 minutes.
Reduce the flame and put the grated paneer. Stir well.
Combine the salt,pepper and soy sauce in it. Mix well.
Mix the cooked rice in it and combine it well.
Sprinkle some pepper powder on top and serve hot.

Serving Suggestions

    • Sprinkle with spring onion greens and cilantro. Serve hot with spicy side dish. • Garnish with chopped spring onions or cashews. Serve with any hot gravy or vegetable Manchurian or green beans with garlic.
