Peanut Butter Cookies


    Butter soft -150 gms

    Castor sugar -150 gms

    Brown sugar -150 gms

    Peanut butter -100 gms

    Eggs -1/2 no

    Flour -300 gms

    Baking soda - 03 gms

    Castor sugar for dusting.


preparation method

Cream butter with castor sugar & using electric motor,until sugar is dissolved.

Add brown sugar and keep creaming.

Add peanut butter and keep creaming.

Add half an egg and still mix till sugar is completely dissolved.(some grains of sugar will still remain).

Add flour & baking soda & fold. keep in fridge for 15-20 minutes rest to set the dough.

(Its good to make this dough a day advance, but 15-20 minutes rest in fridge is also Sufficient).

Make small balls & make a small depression with a fork, in the middle of cookies .(you can also coat them with castor sugar, if required before baking – this is optional ). Put them in baking tray.If the mixture is sticky.you may use dry flour for handling it.

Pre heat the oven at 170 degrees celcies & bake for 20-25 minutes on slow heat.
