Poha roll is a delightful snack which you can serve for breakfast or mid-day snacks.
Poha (rice flakes):- 30 gm.
Potato (boiled, peeled and mashed):- 100 gm.
Green chilies (washed and chopped):- 2
Roasted peanuts:- 20 gm.
Amchur :- ¼tsp.
Garam masala powder:- ¼tsp.
Red chili powder:- ¼ tsp.
Breadcrumbs:- 2 tbsp.
Salt :- to taste
Oil :- for frying
Coriander springs (washed and chopped):- Few
Deep bottomed pan
In a strainer, wash poha and grind the roasted peanuts.
Combine the peanuts, poha, coriander leaves, spices, mashed potatoes and chilies together.
Mix well and then roll into desired shapes.
Dip these rolls in well beaten egg and layer them with breadcrumbs.
Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan and deep-fry the rolls till golden brown.
Take them out on a kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
Serve hot with ketchup or sauce or chutney.
