Raspberry Lemonade is a nice option for any other light and healthy drink.
Water: 1 cup
Sugar: 1 cup
Raspberries: 3/4th cup pureed
Lemon juice: 1 cup
Cold water: 4-6 cups
To make the syrup is simple.
Take a saucepan and heat sugar and water on a medium high flame and let it simmer for till the sugar dissolves completely in the water.
Swirl occasionally to speed up the process.
Once that is done, keep the mixture aside to cool.
Take 3/4th cup of raspberries and blend it using a hand blender.
Pass the mixture through a sieve to separate the juice from the pulp.
Later add the raspberry puree to the syrup and mix through.
Add the mixture in a large pitcher and pour 4-6 cups of water to balance the concentration of the puree.
Serve cool and garnish with a little parsley or basil or mint leaves.
