Roasted Fan Shaped Potatoes

Roasted Fan-Shaped Potatoes are low fat and a great recipe for potluck parties and get together events. You can relish these low fat potatoes with beef, roast pork or ham.


    Large baking potatoes, 12

    Salt, 1/2 teaspoon

    Butter or margarine, molten, 1/2 cup

    Dry bread crumbs, 6 tablespoons

    Shredded Parmesan cheese, 6 tablespoons

preparation method

Slice the potatoes with a sharp knife but ensure you do not slice them all way through. Keep the slices attached at the lower end of the knife. Place them in an oiled shallow baking dish. Drizzle with salt and smear with 1/3th cup butter. Bake the slices, uncovered in the oven at 425 degrees for half hour. Now brush them with the leftover butter and drizzle with bread crumbs. Now bake again for twenty minutes. Dust them with Parmesan cheese and bake again for ten minutes till potatoes become al dente.


Serving Suggestions

    Serve hot, with ketchup or dip.
