Salisbury Steak

A perfect lunch or dinner dish meant for the whole family to enjoy.

A manly meal for a big appetite.

ingredients

    Lean ground beef: 1½ pounds
    Quick cooking oats: ¾ cup
    Finely chopped onions: ¼ cup
    1 large egg, beaten
    Tomato juice: ½ cup
    salt and pepper to taste

preparation method

In a large bowl, add the beef, oats, onions, egg, salt, pepper and tomato juice in the above mentioned quantities.

Mix the ingredients well and set aside for a minute or two.

Make small patties out of the mixture and place it on a oil laden-ed baking tray.

Place in the oven for 20 minutes at a temperature of 160F, flipping each side.

Serve warm with a mushroom and onion sauté or barbeque sauce.

    Serve with a mushroom sauce or bbq sauce.
