Soya Shammi Kabab


    Soya wadi                                                                   250 grams

    Chana Dal                                                                   100 grams

    Anardana                                                                    01 tbsp

    Bay leaf                                                                       1

    Cinnamon                                                                    1-inch stick

    Cloves                                                                         4

    Ginger, grated                                                             1 tablespoon

    Garlic, chopped                                                           4-5 cloves

    Green chillies, chopped                                               2

    Whole red chillies, broken                                          4

    Salt                                                                              to taste

    Oil                                                                               1 tablespoon ( to shallow fry)

    Roasted chana powder                                               2 tbsp

    Mint chutney

preparation method

Heat one-tablespoon oil, add bay leaf, cinnamon stick  and cloves and sauté till they crackle. Then add ginger, garlic, whole red chillies, green chillies and sauté for 1 -2 minutes.
Add soaked soya wadi and chana daal and 1 tbsp anaardana and mix well. Allow to cool. Now make a paste of it , by grinding in a blender.

Remove in a bowl , and add 2 tbsp roasted chana powder. Knead into a dough
Make small tikkis out of the dough.
Heat oil in a pan and shallow-fry the tikkis  on medium heat until golden brown from both sides .
Serve with mint chutney .
