Tamata Ghatia nu Shaak


    1 Cumin seeds 1 tsp
    2 Mustard seeds 1 tsp
    3 Asafoetida Pinch
    4 Green chillies 2 nos
    5 tomatoes 1 cup
    6 Green tomatoes ¾ cup
    7 salt To taste
    8 Red chilli powder 1 tsp
    9 Coriander powder 1 tsp
    10 Cumin powder 1 tsp
    11 Sugar 1 ½ tsp
    12 Ghatia 1 cup
    13 Kitchen masala  ½ tsp
    14 Coriander leaves For garnishing
    15 Oil 3 tbsp
    16 Curry leaves 8-10 nos

preparation method

Heat oil in a deep pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds , as they start to crackle, add in the asafoetida, finely chopped green chillies and curry leaves in it and sauté it.
Now add finely chopped tomatoes, finely chopped green tomatoes, salt and little bit of water in it and mix it properly and let it cook until tomatoes leave water.
After this add red chilli powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder in it and cover it with a lid and let it cook.
Lastly add some sugar and ghatia in it and again cover it and cook it for a minute
Finally take it out in a serving bowl garnish it with kitchen king masala and coriander leaves and serve it.
