Chicken leg piece is marinated in ginger-garlic, spices and curd to get tasty Tangdi Kebab.
Chicken(leg pieces) :- 8
Ginger :- 1inch piece
Garlic :- 6 cloves
Lemon juice :- 3 tsp
Turmeric powder :- 2 tsp
Garam masala powder :- 1 tsp
Red chili powder :- 1 tsp
Chaat masala :- 1 tsp
Gram flour (besan) :- 6tsp.
Curd :- 1 Cup
Green chili (finely chopped) :- 4
Salt :- To taste
Oil :- As required
Lemon, cut into wedges :- For garnishing
Clean the chicken pieces and dry. Keep aside.
Cut the chicken pieces at 4 places and smear lime squeeze over the pieces. Keep aside.
Prepare a ginger-garlic paste.
Hand yogurt from a fabric to drain water completely. Keep aside.
Heat a non-stick frying pan and once it becomes hot, put gram flour. Dry roast and then allow it to cool.
In a medium vessel,put cool gram flour, garlic-ginger paste, garam masala powder, turmeric, green chili, red chili powder, salt and yogurt.
Add chicken in an oven or tandoor.
Once the chicken pieces cook completely, sprinkle little chaat masala on them.
Serve with lemon wedges and onion rings.
Sprinkle little chaat masala after roasting and serve hotwith onion rings and green chutney.
