Wheat Bran Upma




    All bran- 1 cup

    Wheat flakes- 1 cup

    Onion- ½ medium

    Tomato, diced- ½ medium

    Mustard seeds- 1 tsp

    Green chili- to taste

    Curry leaves- 8-10

    Turmeric powder- ¼ TSP

    Lemon Juice- 1 tsp

    Salt- to taste

    Oil=- ½ tbsp

    Coriander- 1 tbsp


    Chokher- 1 cup

    Wheat flakes- 1 cup

    Pyaaj- ½ medium

    Tamatar,kata hua- ½ medium

    Sarson- 1 tsp

    Hari mirch- swad anusar

    Kadhi patta- 8=-10

    Haldi- ¼ tsp

    Nimbu ka rus- 1 tsp

    Namak- swad anusar

    Tel- ½ tsp

    Hara dhaniya- 1 tbsp

preparation method

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Put mustard seeds, green chili, curry leaves and onion in, sauté for a while.
  • Add turmeric powder, salt and tomato, cook till soften.
  • Now add all bran and wheat flakes, stir fry for a while.
  • Add lemon juice and coriander leaves towards the end, mix well.
  • Wheat bran upma is ready to serve.
