Pep up the frankfurters with this delicious creamy apple sauce


  • Frankfurters, slit 8
  • Medium apples, peeled, cored and each cut into 8 wedges 2
  • Unsalted butter 2 tbsps
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Medium onion, sliced 1
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder ¼ tsp
  • Real Grape Juice 1 cup
  • Fresh cream 1 cup
  • Real Apple Juice 1 tbsp
  • Brown sugar 1 tbsp


  • Heat 1 tbsp butter and oil in a non-stick pan. Add apples, onion, bay leaf, salt and pepper powder, mix and sauté for 3 minutes.
  • Heat remaining butter in another non-stick and place Frankfurters in it and sauté for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Add Real Grape Juice to the apple mixture, mix, cover and cook till 4-5 minutes.
  • Add cream, Real Apple Juice and brown sugar, mix well and cook till it thickens.
  • Arrange the frankfurters in a serving plate, pour the apple mixture over them and serve.
