This firni made with paneer is velvety and delicious


  • Honey 2 tbsps
  • Cottge cheese (paneer) 100 gms
  • Milk 3 cups
  • Almonds a few to garnish
  • Rose syrup to garnish


  • Blend cottage cheese and ½ cup milk in a blender to a smooth paste.
  • Heat remaining milk in a non-stick pan, add the cottage cheese paste, mix well and cook on medium heat, stirring continuously, till the mixture thickens. Add honey and mix well.
  • Pour the firni into small serving bowls.
  • Cut a few almonds into slivers, sprinkle them on top the firni, sprinkle some rose syrup on top.
  • Cool down to room temperature and keep the bowls in the refrigerator to chill before serving.
