Vegetable salad served differently – like kababs strung on to skewers


  • Yogurt dressing
  • Yogurt 4 to 5 tbsps
  • Honey 1 tbsp
  • Ginger, chopped ½ tsp
  • Carom seeds ½ tsp
  • 1 to taste
  • Red chilli powder ½ tsp
  • Vegetable skewers
  • Medium radish,cut into small cubes 1
  • Medium tomato, seeded and cut into small cubes 1
  • Medium cucumber, peeled and cut into small cubes 1
  • Medium beetroot, boiled, peeled and cut into small cubes 1
  • Medium broccoli, separated into small florets 1
  • Lemon juice 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste


  • To prepare yogurt  dressing put yogurt, honey, ginger, carom seeds, salt and red chilli powder in a bowl and mix well. Serve the yogurt dressing in a serving bowl.
  • To make vegetable kebab, take radish cubes, tomato cubes, cucumber cubes, beetroot cubes and broccoli florets in a mixing bowl. Add lemon juice and salt and mix well.
  • String on one cube of each vegetable onto each skewer. Arrange the skewers on a serving platter and serve with the bowl of yogurt dressing.
