Ingredients

  • Pumpkin dices 2 cups
  • Oil 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds (methi dana) 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Dried red chillies 1
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Red chilli powder ½ tsp
  • Jaggery, grated 1 tsp
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped 1 tbsp

How to Make Kaddu ki Sabji (Stepwise Photos)

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds and saute till they change colour. Add red chilli and saute.
  2. Add pumpkin, salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder and mix well.
  3. Add ½ cup water and jaggery and mix well. Cover and cook till pumpkin is done.
  4. Transfer into a serving dish, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
