Both the cheese make mashed potatoes richer and tastier


  • Medium potatoes, boiled, peeled, chopped 4
  • Processed cheese, grated ½ cup
  • Cheddar cheese, grated ½ cup
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Melted butter 2 tbsps
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli flakes 1 tsp + to sprinkle
  • Black pepper powder ½ tsp


  • Take potatoes in a bowl and mash while still hot.
  • Add milk and butter in a pan and mash till it becomes a smooth paste.
  • Add processed cheese and cheddar cheese and mix well.
  • Add salt, chilli flakes and black pepper powder and mix.
  • Transfer into a serving bowl, sprinkle some chilli flakes on top and serve.
