Refreshing and rejuvenating especially during hot summer days


  • Fresh mint sprigs 32 to 40 + for garnishing
  • Mint syrup 1 cup
  • Red USA pear 1
  • Ice cubes 3 cups
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsps


  • For each portion, put ¾ cup ice cubes, 8-10 mint sprigs, ¼ cup mint syrup, 1 tbsp lemon juice and some water in a blender jar and blend to a thin mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into a barfi tray and keep in the freezer till set. Scrape the mixture at regular intervals with a fork to get a granita texture.
  • Discard stem and bottom of USA Pear and chop finely. Put ¼ of the chopped pear into a martini glass and put granita on top.
  • Serve immediately garnished with a mint sprig.
