Oats with Soft Egg

Oats porridge made creamier and more nutrient rich with eggs


  • Oats 2 cups
  • Eggs 4
  • Milk 2 cups
  • Sugar 2 tbsps
  • Salt to taste
  • Honey 2 tsps + to drizzle
  • Almonds, chopped 2 tbsps to sprinkle
  • Raisins 2 tsps
  • Black raisins 2 tsps + to sprinkle
  • Tutti fruitti 2 tsps + to sprinkle


  • Heat milk in a non-stick pan, add 1 cup water, mix and let it come to a boil.
  • Add sugar and oats, mix and let it cook on medium heat.
  • Heat sufficient water in a deep non-stick pan, add salt and when the water comes to a bowl, gently lower the eggs and cook for 10 minutes. Drain, cool and cut them into small pieces.
  • Add the eggs to the oats and mix gently.
  • Add honey, almonds, raisins, black raisins and tutti fruitti and mix gently.
  • Transfer into serving bowls, drizzle a little honey, sprinkle a little tutti fruitti, black raisins, almonds and raisins in each bowl and serve.
