Orange Soymilk Smoothie

Soymilk is very rich in proteins and is extremely good for growing children


  • Orange juice 4 cups
  • Orange marmalade as required
  • Dried soyabeans 8 cups
  • Sugar 4 tbsps


  • To make soymilk for 1 portion, heat sufficient water in a deep non-stick pan, add 2 cups soybeans and cook till done. Set aside to cool.
  • Transfer the boiled soybeans along with a little water into a grinder jar and grind.
  • Strain this through a muslin cloth into a jug. This is soy milk.
  • Add 1 cup orange juice and 1 tbsp sugar to the soy milk and mix till sugar dissolves.
  • Decorate a tall glass with orange marmalade from inside. Pour the smoothie into it.
  • Serve immediately.
