A blend of different textures and flavours blending well together, this salad is very palatable


  • Tender spinach (palak), roughly chopped ½ cup
  • Green gram sprouts (ankurit moong), blanched ½ cup
  • Fresh pomegranate pearls (anaar) ½ cup
  • Medium green capsicum, roughly chopped ½
  • Medium cucumber, peeled and chopped 1
  • Apple, chopped ¾ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder ½ tsp
  • Fresh mint leaves, chopped ½ cup
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped 2 tbsps
  • Ginger, roughly chopped ½ inch
  • Green chillies, slit 3 to 4
  • Yogurt 4 tbsps
  • Lemon juice 4 tsps
  • Lettuce leaves a few to serve


  • Take spinach, sprouts, pomegranate pearls, capsicum, cucumber, apple, salt and red chili powder in a mixing bowl and mix well.
  • Put mint leaves, coriander leaves, ginger, green chillies and yogurt in a blender jar and blend to make the dressing.
  • Pour dressing over the salad in the bowl, mix well. Add lemon juice and mix well.
  • Spread lettuce leaves on a serving platter, put the salad over them and serve immediately.
