Semolina and vegetable mixture spread on bread slices and toasted


  • Semolina (sooji) 1 cup
  • Green capsicum, chopped ½ cup
  • Red capsicum, chopped ½ cup
  • Yellow capsicum, chopped ½ cup
  • Carrots, grated ½ cup
  • Cabbage, grated ½ cup
  • Whole wheat bread slices as required
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chillies, finely chopped 1 tsp
  • Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped 1 tbsp
  • Oil to cook
  • Processed cheese, grated to garnish


  • Take semolina, green capsicum, red capsicum, yellow capsicum, carrots, cabbage, yogurt, salt, green chillies and coriander leaves in a mixing bowl and mix well.
  • Spread the mixture evenly on the bread slices.
  • Heat some oil in a non-stick pan, keep the bread slices on it and cook, turning sides, till both sides are equally cooked and golden.
  • Keep the bread slices on a serving platter, garnish with cheese and serve with a bowl of tomato ketchup and serve.
